Scott began his journey into music at age 13. In 2007 whilst completing his Bachelor in music Performance at Box Hill Institute, he began actively teaching the Drum Kit and Percussion in various schools across Melbourne.
He has shared the stage and performed with a range of artists including Elbow (UK), Katie Noonan, Half Moon Run (CAN), and The Getaway Plan to name but a few. He has toured across Australia and internationally playing in venues such as The Sydney opera House, Festival Hall, and The Tivoli, as well as many festivals including Woodford Folk Festival, St Kilda Festival and The Hills Are Alive. His band Playwrite’s debut album Cathedrals was released in 2015 receiving support from triple J, Double J and ABC television. He is currently playing drums for Melbourne Band Diamonds Of Neptune who are in the finishing stages of their debut album set for release late 2019, as well as various corporate events\functions, weddings and cover shows across Victoria.
